Limo service and limousine rentals in New York

Limousine service across New York, New Jersey and the Northeast

Trans Dispatch arranges limo service with a chauffeur for weddings, airport transfers, prom, corporate travel, birthdays and nights out, starting in New York City, Long Island and Westchester and running across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Partner operators cover trips that start further afield.

One dispatch desk books every limousine and confirms the vehicle and the timings in writing, whether the job is a wedding exit, a client pickup or a night in the city.

Weekends, prom season and holidays fill first, so send your date early. Tell dispatch the occasion and the guest count, and you get a firm price and the vehicle named before you confirm.

Limo rental options by group size

These six limousines cover groups from 8 to 20. Models and capacities are class-typical, and your quote names the exact vehicle. If you want a different color or interior, ask dispatch what is available for your date. Passenger and luggage details for the stretch and Sprinter classes follow the cards.

  3. Ride

Confirm, and the chauffeur’s details reach you before pickup. Airport rides are matched to the flight, not the clock.

Limo service questions

How much is limo service per hour?

The vehicle and the night set the figure; a stretch limousine on a Tuesday afternoon and a Sprinter limo on a Saturday in June are different numbers. Your quote states the hourly minimum for the vehicle and the exact rate for your date.

What is the difference between a limo and a stretch limo?

A stretch limo is a sedan or SUV lengthened to make room for a rear lounge with side-facing seats. People often say limo for any chauffeured car, including an ordinary sedan, so ask for a stretch by name if you want the long one.

Is the limo rental by the hour or by the trip?

Both. Weddings, proms and nights out are hourly with a minimum. A one-way airport arrival or a transfer to a venue can be quoted as a flat transfer. Tell dispatch which you need.

How many people fit in a limousine?

Most stretch sedan limousines seat 8 to 10, with limited luggage. A Sprinter limo takes 10 to 14, and stretched SUV limos such as the Escalade and Hummer take 14 to 20. For bigger groups, a party bus is the better fit.

Can we decorate the limo for a wedding?

Tell dispatch what you have in mind, such as ribbons or a just-married sign, when you book. Dispatch checks what the assigned limousine allows and confirms it with you before the day.

Can a limo meet us at the airport?

Yes. A stretch limousine can collect an arrival at JFK, LaGuardia or Newark, with the pickup timed to the flight. Trunk space is small, so give dispatch the bag count; a group with plenty of luggage may suit the executive Sprinter better.

Should our group pick the stretch or the Sprinter?

It comes down to headcount and style. Up to 10 guests dressed for a formal occasion usually prefer the stretch, with its leather rear lounge and a divider for privacy. Groups of 10 to 14 who want to get up between stops tend to choose the van, which has room to stand.

Is a Sprinter limo the same thing as a Sprinter party bus?

Mostly, yes. Both names are used for a Mercedes Sprinter van set up with lounge seating, a bar area, mood lighting and Bluetooth sound. It carries 10 to 14 guests, and your quote names the layout of the van you are booking.
