Executive layout for teams and luggage, up to 14
The working layout, for a sales team visiting clients between Midtown and Jersey City, or a family of twelve landing at JFK after a vacation. Sprinter van rental questions
Is the Sprinter self-drive, or does it come with a driver?
It always comes with a chauffeur; none of our vans are rented for you to drive. If you want to drive yourself, a rental counter is the right place. If you want the group to arrive together and rested, book the van with a driver.
How many passengers does a Sprinter hold?
The executive Sprinter seats up to 14 with room for a bag each. The Sprinter limo, configured with lounge seating, takes 10 to 14 and is built for nights out rather than luggage.
Is a 15-passenger Sprinter the same as your executive Sprinter?
In most cases, yes. Many listings count the driver as one of the 15 seats. Our forward-facing van takes up to 14 riders behind the chauffeur, and your booking confirmation states how many seats the assigned vehicle has.
Can one Sprinter meet a group arriving on several flights?
Often, yes. List each flight number and terminal when you book; pickups at JFK, LaGuardia and Newark are flight-tracked, and the van is timed to the main arrival. Anyone landing much earlier or later can get a quote for their own car instead of a long wait.
Should a group of 8 to 12 take one Sprinter or two SUVs?
One van keeps everyone together with a single chauffeur, one pickup time and the bags behind the last row. Two premium SUVs, each for up to 6, make sense when the group splits up later, such as colleagues flying from different airports. Ask dispatch to price both.
Which layout should we book, executive or limo?
Choose the executive layout when the group has luggage, work to do or a long drive, since the seats face forward and bags ride behind the last row. Choose the limo layout for a celebration, with lounge seating, a bar area and room to stand, but little space for bags.
Is the van a good fit for a wine or brewery tour?
Yes, and it is usually booked by the hour. Send the stops in order, such as vineyards on Long Island’s North Fork or in the Hudson Valley, with the time you want to be home. The chauffeur drives the whole route, so everyone can enjoy the tastings.
What if our group is bigger than 14?
Past 14 passengers, a minibus for 24 to 35 is the usual step up, and a motorcoach takes up to 56. Send the headcount and dispatch will say which size fits, or quote two vans if the group wants to split.
