Party bus rentals in New York City

Party bus rental across NYC, Long Island and the Northeast

Trans Dispatch arranges buses for celebrations across New York City, from Manhattan to Brooklyn, Long Island and Westchester, plus New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts, and nationwide through partner operators. Groups book the bus for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, prom, weddings, concerts, games and corporate outings.

Groups from 10 to 40 passengers have a size that fits, from a 10-passenger Sprinter to a 30- to 40-passenger bus. On board you can expect perimeter seating, LED lighting, a sound system with Bluetooth and a bar area, with a restroom on the larger models.

The main sizes are shown below. Have a different bus in mind? Describe it with your trip details, and dispatch will look beyond these five sizes for the bus that fits your group, your night and your budget.

Party bus sizes from 10 to 40 passengers

Pick from five sizes, sorted by headcount. Models and capacities are class-typical; your quote names the exact vehicle and what is on board. For a formal arrival instead, see our limousine service.

10-passenger Sprinter for small groups

The compact option for a bachelorette dinner, a birthday crawl or a small wedding party. It parks where a full bus cannot and still has perimeter leather seating, LED mood lighting, Bluetooth sound, a bar area and room to stand. The same van is listed as a Sprinter limo with our limousines.

Black high-roof Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van in front three-quarter view, parked by a glass building and palm trees.
Sprinter party van lounge with purple-lit quilted leather wraparound seating, a TV and a bar console with cup holders.
Black high-roof Ford Transit passenger van with dual rear wheels parked outside a glass and brick building.
Sprinter limo cabin with black leather lounge seating, blue accent lighting, window blinds and a red-lit floor.

15-passenger bus for birthdays and sweet sixteens

A step up for a group that has outgrown a limo but does not need a full bus: a 21st birthday, a sweet sixteen with parents on board, or a night between two Brooklyn venues. Perimeter seating, LED lighting and a sound system that takes your playlist come with this size.

20-passenger party bus for bachelor and bachelorette parties

A comfortable size for a bachelorette or bachelor group of up to 20, with room to move between the seats, a bar area with ice wells, mood lighting and Bluetooth sound. Send dispatch the venue addresses, because a bus cannot stop just anywhere in Meatpacking or the Lower East Side.

White full-size bus with a long band of tinted windows, parked under shady trees beside a park lot.
Party bus lounge with black diamond-stitched leather seating, a red-lit bar, a TV and purple, blue and green LED lights.
Black mid-size limo bus with tinted windows and amber roof lights driving down a city street.
Party bus interior with black diamond-stitched wraparound seating, a chrome pole, LED lighting and a mirrored bar.

22- to 25-passenger bus for milestone nights

For a milestone birthday, a company team night or a wedding party that wants everyone on one vehicle. This size handles a longer evening comfortably, with perimeter seating along the cabin, LED and fiber-optic lighting, a bar area and tinted windows. Want a pole or particular screens? Ask dispatch first.

30- to 40-passenger bus for prom and big birthdays

The bus for prom, a large birthday, a corporate outing or a day out to Atlantic City or the Hamptons, with a restroom on the larger models for a long day. Booking for a wedding party or a big event? Wedding transportation and event transportation put the bus on one timeline with other vehicles.

How it works

Book your bus in three steps

  1. Tell us the trip

Pickup, drop-off, date, time and headcount. Under a minute on the form — or a phone call if you would rather talk it through.

  2. Get a firm price

A dispatcher checks availability and replies with the vehicle class and the quote. Nothing is charged on this website.

  3. Ride

Confirm, and the chauffeur’s details reach you before pickup. Airport rides are matched to the flight, not the clock.

Party bus rental questions

How much is a party bus rental?

Each bus has an hourly rate and a minimum, and the figure moves with the size of the bus, the date and how long the night runs. Your written quote shows the minimum and the exact price before you confirm. Saturdays in prom season fill first, so ask early.

How many people fit on one bus?

From 10 to 40 guests, depending on the vehicle: a Sprinter for 10, and buses for 15, 20, 22 to 25 and 30 to 40 passengers. For more than 40, dispatch can quote two buses on one timeline.

Can we book a party bus with a restroom?

Yes. A restroom usually comes on the larger buses rather than the smaller sizes. If your group needs one for a long day, such as a casino or winery trip, mention it when you ask for a quote and dispatch will confirm which buses on your date include one.

Can the bus stop at several venues in one night?

Yes. Give dispatch the stops in running order with a leaving time for each, plus the date, headcount and hours. The quote covers the whole night, the driver stays with the bus between venues, and you hear early if a venue has no curb space for a bus to wait.

What should prom and other under-21 groups tell dispatch?

Say when you book that some riders are under 21, and add an adult organizer’s mobile number to the booking notes so dispatch has a contact on the day. The drinks policy for the bus is written on your quote. Share it with the group before the night.

Can we book a bus for a kids’ birthday?

Yes. A children’s party on a bus is usually a daytime booking, with the lights and music on and a route to a venue rather than a loop around the city. Tell dispatch the children’s ages, how many adults are riding and the plan for the day.

Can we take the bus from NYC to Atlantic City or the Hamptons?

Yes. Day trips to Atlantic City, the Hamptons, the Jersey Shore or the Connecticut casinos are booked as one long block, including the hours the bus waits while you are there. Tell dispatch where the group wants to be dropped at the far end and when you plan to head back.

How many hours should we book the bus for?

Add up the whole night: the ride to the first venue, the time spent at each stop, the drive home and a margin for photos or a slow exit from a club. If you are unsure, send the plan and dispatch will suggest how many hours to book.
